The MCA-Omaha Women in the Mechanical Industry group’s summer social event this year is a Pickleball Tournament at BlueSky Patio & Pickleball! Not sure what pickleball is? No worries, we have you covered. Pickleball is a sport that resembles tennis but utilizes a smaller paddle and a perforated plastic ball. You don’t need to be a pro player to attend this event, just come by for a few fun games and networking with other women in the mechanical industry in Omaha! We can’t wait to see you in July.
What is WiMI? The Women in the Mechanical Industry initiative, also referred to as WiMI, was created to enable women in the mechanical industry to further their careers through networking, educational, mentoring and career development opportunities. WiMI is open to women from the office to the field who are interested in growing their network and learning more about the mechanical industry on a local and a national level.
