Mayor John Ewing Jr. will give a preview of the State of the City and share information about the great momentum Omaha has to build upon.
About the Speaker:
Omaha Mayor John Ewing, Jr was elected this past May, he is the 52nd mayor of Omaha. Mayor Ewing was born and raised on the north side of Omaha and graduated from Northwest High School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He served the Omaha Police Department for 25 years, from 1981 to 2006, and retired at the rank of deputy chief. in 2006, Mayor Ewing was first elected to the Douglas County Treasurer’s Office and served in this office until his election as Mayor this year. Mayor Ewing is proud advocate of Omaha and is committed to advancing key initiatives that will enhance the lives of all Omaha residents.
