MCA-Omaha Associate Member cfm Distributors will be presenting on the technology transition to A2L Refrigerants that will be happening in 2025. Due to the high GWP of 410A it is being replaced with low GWP refrigerants which also means we are moving out of the A1 category (not flammable) to the A2L category (mildly flammable). This category change is necessary in order to put refrigerants, with a GWP less than 750, into use. Make sure to come to this member meeting to hear all of the updated regulations and to get your questions answered!
Speaker Bios: Ethan Grabbe has been in the industry for 9 years. He has done residential install and service, commercial install and service, and has had roles as both install manager and service manager. Ethan is currently the Assistant Director of Technical Service and Training for cfm. His responsibilities include teaching cfm training classes, startup assistance and site visits, and phone technical support.
Scott Murphy, is cfm’s inside sales engineer who is taking care of the Omaha area. His role involves designing and quoting HVAC systems with an emphasis on rooftops, chillers, ductless, air handlers, and VRF.
