This member meeting will focus on construction site theft and give helpful tips on what you can do to minimize it from happening. Topics covered will include:

Speaker Bio:
Sergeant John McFarland has been with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for 12 years. He is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division where he supervises the Property Crimes Team. His team oversees the investigation of crimes to include vehicle thefts, construction burglaries, financial crimes, and sex offender violations. During his time with the DCSO he has worked in Patrol, the Courts, Crime Suppression Unit, and Criminal Investigations. John received the Deputy of the Year award in 2017 and continues to bring the same energy each day to succeed in his role.
